Linda has battled the most unbelievable odds and has overcome incredible challenges to be the woman she is today. Diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in her twenties, Linda had to learn to live with the condition because there is currently no cure. She had several surgeries and then in her thirties, after ignoring some serious symptoms because she was too busy at work, Linda suffered total kidney failure and continues on dialysis still today.
In preparation for a kidney transplant, she was then diagnosed with Anal Cancer. Linda underwent a 15 hour surgery to remove her bladder, bowel and reproductive organs. It was a long recovery with her family helping her to get back on her feet.
